START WITH YOUR BIGGEST QUESTION

What feels hardest today?

PATH TWO • WORK + SCHOOL + HOME

Build around focused blocks, not a perfect clock.

Try one real learning goal at a time. Schedule parent work, supervised independent learning, meals, movement, chores, and room to breathe. Adjust this sample day to your children's ages and your job.

YOUR FLEXIBLE DAY

3 learners • 80 minutes of work blocks

Illustrative rhythm—not an attendance log or a replacement for your saved school schedule.

  1. LEARN TOGETHER · 15 MIN

    Good morning, goals and materials

Parent: Check in with each child. Choose one priority per learner.

Children: Pick materials, choose a book and get the first task ready.

  2. LEARN TOGETHER · 15 MIN

    One short guided lesson

Parent: Model one small reading or math skill; give different challenge levels as needed.

Children: Try a worked example, then a hands-on response.

  3. PARENT WORK · 40 MIN

    Parent work sprint 1

Parent: Do one focused work task. Stay available to supervise and check younger learners.

Children: Rotate through independent reading, age-appropriate practice and quiet games; keep younger children supervised.

  4. BREAK · 15 MIN

    Snack, movement and a reset

Parent: Step away from the desk too. Drink water and check in.

Children: Move, snack, use the bathroom and reset your space.

  5. LEARN TOGETHER · 15 MIN

    Teach, then try one together

Parent: Model one small reading or math skill; give different challenge levels as needed.

Children: Try a worked example, then a hands-on response.

  6. PARENT WORK · 40 MIN

    Parent work sprint 2

Parent: Do one focused work task. Stay available to supervise and check younger learners.

Children: Rotate through independent reading, age-appropriate practice and quiet games; keep younger children supervised.

  7. BREAK · 15 MIN

    Snack, movement and a reset

Parent: Step away from the desk too. Drink water and check in.

Children: Move, snack, use the bathroom and reset your space.

  8. LIFE SKILLS · 20 MIN

    Hands-on learning and home skills

Parent: Check the work done so far and handle a small household task together.

Children: Try counting, sorting, measuring, folding or a practical mini-project.

  9. LEARN TOGETHER · 10 MIN

    Read aloud, celebrate and close

Parent: Listen to what each child learned; write down tomorrow's first step.

Children: Share one thing you learned and put materials away.

Real-family rule: Work blocks are not a promise that young children can safely work alone. Stay available for supervision, offer quieter tasks, and shorten a sprint when someone needs you. Put meals, exercise and your own care back on the schedule too.
