Grocery discounts, construction measurements, changing graphs, source evidence, virtual experiments, and animated historical data.
Drag, build, calculate, highlight, graph, simulate, compare, record evidence, and explain why.
No confetti. No coach. No hints. Timed, GED-style interactions with a Learn4Legacy readiness report afterward.
Learn4Legacy readiness results are preparation indicators, not official GED® scores. Learners should use the official GED Ready® practice test and official testing provider for final readiness and scheduling.
NextStep should take somebody from “I need to finish high school” all the way through state eligibility, subject preparation, official testing, the state credential, and whatever comes next.
In Illinois, 18+ candidates may test if they meet the other HSE eligibility requirements. A 17-year-old needs the required withdrawal documentation. Most 16-year-olds are not eligible for HSE testing unless they are in one of the limited qualifying programs.
The learner always sees the next official step rather than completing lessons and hitting a dead end.
GED preparation should leave behind a usable paper study guide. Pull out formulas, evidence rules, vocabulary, graph/experiment moves, and common traps while you learn them—not the night before testing.
Do not copy the whole lesson. Capture the rule, vocabulary, model, example, warning, or procedure that is most likely to matter on a test or in the real class/program.

Practice mode teaches from mistakes. Final/Mastery mode removes the coaching and checks whether the learner can retrieve and apply the material independently.
Miss a question and Learn4Legacy points back to the exact notebook section to review before retrying.
Questions should require recall, application, evidence, calculation, or judgment — not just copying wording from the lesson.
The learner should never have to guess whether they need academic help, state-rule help, testing help, or a next-step advisor.
Builds the learner’s overall HSE plan, checks which subjects remain, sets a realistic testing order, and tracks readiness milestones.
Cannot declare official GED eligibility or issue the state diploma.Shows the learner their state’s current age, residency, documentation, Constitution/civics, testing, and underage requirements.
State rules and approvals come from the official state/testing authorities.Helps with Math, RLA, Science, Social Studies, writing, prerequisite rebuilding, study planning, and test stamina.
Does not provide official GED test questions or an official GED score.Uses Learn4Legacy readiness evidence, helps the learner decide when to take GED Ready where applicable, and prepares the official-test checklist.
Only the official testing provider can issue official scores and testing status.Starts the next plan before the learner finishes: college readiness, Early College when appropriate, CLEP prep, career programs, financial-aid questions, and application steps.
Does not promise admission, financial aid, or transferable credit.Helps the learner use L4L accessibility tools and organize documentation/questions before requesting official testing accommodations.
Official testing accommodations must be approved by the testing authority.Learn4Legacy can teach, coach, measure internal readiness, organize documents, and guide the learner through the process. Official GED eligibility, GED Ready results, official exam scores, and the State of Illinois High School Diploma come from the appropriate testing/state authorities.
If the learner wants college, NextStep moves them into College Readiness / College Campus. If they want work first, it opens Career Skills. If they need both, the advisor helps sequence both without starting over.
These are original Learn4Legacy practice models aligned to the reasoning skills the official tests describe. They are not copied GED questions.
Change one or more conditions. The model visibly responds, then you interpret the evidence.
The model is strongest near 10 hours of light, 6 water units, and 72°F. Real plant growth also depends on species, soil, nutrients, disease, and other variables.
Current Illinois guidance recognizes GED® or HiSET® exam routes plus the Illinois Constitution requirement, with a transcript-based alternative route for some candidates. Online GED testing also requires a green GED Ready® result within the prior 60 days for each subject being taken online.
Science trains toward a 90-minute session. Social Studies trains toward 70 minutes. Once the full clock starts, coaching controls disappear from this panel.
“L4L Ready” is a Learn4Legacy preparation indicator, never an official GED score or pass prediction.
It points learners to the official provider for GED Ready®, scheduling, current fees, identification requirements, accommodations, and the official exam.
