Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to Learn4Legacy websites, mobile experiences, parent and learner accounts, printable and Smart Generator tools, learning games, live-learning features, community features, support, and related services operated as part of the Cre8sLife / CRE8S ecosystem.
Learn4Legacy is designed for families, including children. Parent and guardian control is a core part of how learner accounts are created and managed.
Information we collect
Parent and account information
Name, email address, authentication and security information, profile settings, subscription and billing status, support messages, and information an adult chooses to provide.
Learner profile information
Information needed to build and manage a learning experience, such as a learner’s name or display name, age or grade level, course selections, accessibility or learning preferences supplied by the family, and parent-managed settings.
Learning records
Assignments, answers, scores, mastery data, attendance/check-in records, progress, teacher or parent feedback, earned rewards, saved work, generated learning materials, and other academic activity created through the Service.
Uploads and communications
Files, worksheet images, photos, audio, video, messages, or other content a family intentionally submits through a feature. Live-class, mentor, creator, community, or portfolio features may collect the content needed to provide that feature.
Technical and transaction information
Device and browser information, app events, security records, feature usage, notification settings, purchase history, subscription status, and payment-related records. Full card numbers are generally handled by the payment provider rather than stored directly by Learn4Legacy.
Camera, microphone, photos, video and files
Some Learn4Legacy features can use a camera, microphone, photo library, or uploaded files—for example read-aloud activities, assignment evidence, live learning, creator or mentor workflows, classroom recordings, and worksheet-to-learning tools. Device or browser permission is requested when a feature needs that access.
Families should only submit media they have the right and authority to share. Parent-controlled or adult-only areas may include additional permission, review, or visibility controls.
Adult creator, mentor & instructor verification
Adults who apply for Legacy Creator, Teach Live, mentor, guest-speaker, facilitator, or similar roles may be asked for additional information needed to protect student-facing programs. This can include a public/professional profile, qualifications, child-safety training results, conduct acknowledgements, the front and back of a government-issued ID, identity-review status, and—where direct live student interaction requires it—background-screening authorization, provider, reference/status, completion and expiration information.
Government-ID images are stored privately for the verification workflow and are not made student-facing. Background-screening providers may collect additional information under their own disclosures and consent process. Learn4Legacy should receive only the screening information reasonably needed for the program and does not require a background check merely to submit prerecorded Creator content when the applicable program states that screening is optional.
Smart features and generated content
Smart features may process the prompt, learning context, uploaded material, or other information needed to produce the requested lesson, worksheet, explanation, feedback, caption, or other output. Information may be sent to service providers that help operate those features. We aim to limit the information used to what is reasonably necessary for the requested function. Smart output can be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed by an adult when the decision is important.

Children and student information
Learn4Legacy includes experiences intended for children and teens. An adult parent or legal guardian is expected to create or authorize learner access where required. For children under 13, Learn4Legacy will use parent/guardian authorization and any additional verifiable parental-consent process required by applicable law before enabling a feature that requires it.
Read the Children & Student Privacy Notice for a simpler explanation of what may be collected from learners and the choices available to parents.
Advertising and sale of student information
Learn4Legacy does not sell learner personal information for advertising. We do not use a child’s education records, assignments, grades, or learning activity to build a behavioral advertising profile.
If promotional content appears in an adult-facing area, it must not be targeted using a child’s protected learning information.
Illinois student-data and biometric considerations
When Learn4Legacy is used by an Illinois school or other covered educational organization, additional contractual and statutory student-data requirements may apply. Learn4Legacy does not treat ordinary photos, videos, or voice recordings as biometric identifiers merely because media is uploaded. If a future feature collects a biometric identifier or biometric information for identification or authentication, it will require a separate disclosure and consent process where applicable.
Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain academic or transaction records requested by the family, meet security and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and support legitimate business needs. Retention periods can vary by data type. When information is no longer reasonably needed, it may be deleted, de-identified, or otherwise handled as permitted by law.
Parent and user choices
Depending on the information and applicable law, a parent, guardian, or account holder may request access, correction, export, or deletion; ask us to stop future collection from a learner; change account permissions; or close an account. Some records may need to be retained for billing, tax, fraud-prevention, safety, contractual, or legal reasons.
Send privacy requests to support@learn4legacy.com. We may verify identity and authority before acting on a request involving a child or protected account information.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including authenticated access, role-based permissions where supported, encrypted network transport, private storage for sensitive files where appropriate, and service monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Learn4Legacy changes or legal requirements develop. Material changes may receive additional notice. The current effective date appears at the top of this page.
