Agreement and adult responsibility
These Terms apply when you access or use Learn4Legacy. Adult family account holders must be at least 18 years old and are responsible for managed learner profiles, permissions, purchases, and activity under their account. Children and teens may use learner experiences only with the authorization and supervision required by their family and applicable law.
Educational service
Learn4Legacy provides curriculum, learning tools, recordkeeping, practice, feedback, family organization, and related educational experiences. Unless a specific program expressly states otherwise, Learn4Legacy does not represent that it is an accredited school, a state education agency, or a substitute for a family’s legal responsibility to comply with applicable homeschool, attendance, testing, graduation, or reporting requirements.
Families should verify rules that apply in their own state, district, or program.
NextStep, Early College and college-credit status
Learn4Legacy NextStep may provide GED/HSE preparation, college readiness, college-level educational coursework, Early College support, CLEP preparation, career learning, mentoring, academic records, and related tools. Unless a specific course or pathway is expressly identified with an approved college partner or evaluated-credit arrangement, Learn4Legacy coursework is educational/noncredit and is not an accredited college transcript, associate degree, or guarantee of transferable college credit.
When a learner separately enrolls in a college course, the college controls its admission, eligibility, placement, instruction requirements, official grade, credit, and transcript. Learn4Legacy may support the learner and organize linked evidence without representing that Learn4Legacy issued the college credit. Any future dual-credit or partner-credit label applies only to the specifically approved course/pathway and the terms and effective dates shown for it.
Accounts and acceptable use
- Provide accurate account information and protect login credentials.
- Do not impersonate another person, bypass family permissions, scrape protected data, interfere with security, or misuse student information.
- Do not use community, live-learning, mentor, creator, messaging, or Pen Pal features to harass, exploit, groom, threaten, or expose another user’s private information.
- Adults are responsible for permissions and content they submit on behalf of a child.
Plans, trials, packets and payments
Learn4Legacy may offer subscriptions, trials, one-time printable or digital products, promotional pricing, scholarships, or other paid features. The price, billing frequency, trial terms, renewal details, limits, and any promotion-specific conditions shown at checkout or in a written offer control that purchase. Taxes and third-party payment terms may also apply.
Cancellation and refunds
Recurring plans can be cancelled through the available billing controls or support path. Access ordinarily continues through the paid period unless the checkout terms say otherwise. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not ordinarily reverse or refund a payment that has already been processed.
Promotional subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or for a verified billing error. When a written promotional offer says a special rate requires continuous subscription, cancelling and later restarting does not restore that expired promotional rate. Refund eligibility for generated materials, custom products, events, live classes, or other purchases depends on the terms shown for that product or service and applicable law.
Smart-generated content
Smart features can help create lessons, worksheets, explanations, feedback, captions, or other content. Generated output may contain mistakes or be incomplete. Adults should review important educational, legal, health, financial, or safety-related information before relying on it.
User content and student work
You retain ownership of content you or your learner create or upload. You grant Learn4Legacy the limited rights needed to store, process, display, transmit, and otherwise operate the feature you chose. You are responsible for having permission to upload or share the material.
Curriculum and intellectual property
Learn4Legacy branding, original software, interfaces, curriculum, original printables, graphics, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Purchasing or subscribing gives you the personal, family, classroom, or other usage rights stated with the product; it does not transfer ownership of Learn4Legacy intellectual property.
Live learning, mentors, creators and community
Some programs may have additional eligibility, identity, safety, compensation, conduct, recording, or participation rules. Those program-specific terms supplement these Terms. Parent permission and visibility controls may be required for youth participation.
Pen Pal Club, physical mail and off-platform contact
Legacy Pen Pal Club provides a parent-controlled matching experience and a virtual mailbox. Physical mail is optional and is not required to use the Pen Pal Club. Before a learner uses physical Pen Pal mail, both participating families must separately provide parent or guardian permission. Families choosing physical mail are required by the Pen Pal Club rules to use a P.O. box or another non-home mailing address rather than a child's home address.
Learn4Legacy does not coordinate, supervise, verify, or control mailing-address exchanges, physical letters or packages, travel, in-person meetings, phone calls, text messages, social-media contact, or other interactions that occur outside the Learn4Legacy platform. To the extent permitted by law, the participating adults are responsible for deciding whether off-platform contact is appropriate, supervising that contact, and managing risks arising from those arrangements.
Service availability and account action
Features may change as Learn4Legacy improves. We may restrict or suspend access to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, address nonpayment, or enforce these Terms. We will use reasonable efforts to preserve legitimate academic records and paid access where appropriate.
Disclaimers and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Learn4Legacy is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability, a particular grade, test score, admission result, graduation outcome, or other academic result. Learn4Legacy and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service where such limitations are permitted by law.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. Material changes may receive additional notice. Questions may be sent to support@learn4legacy.com.
